2026 Memorial Day Pilgrimage Festival Choir

Join us for the St. Tikhon’s Memorial Day PilgrimageMay 22-25, 2026

St. Tikhon’s Monastery warmly invites you to come sing with our Festival Choir for the 122nd Annual Memorial Day Pilgrimage!

The Pilgrimage is a wonderful & memorable event held each year here at St. Tikhon’s Monastery. The weekend is filled with Divine Services, meals together, museum tours, a chance to explore the beauty of the gardens and monastery grounds, and a rich, shared experience with fellow Orthodox Christians!

If you would love the opportunity to sing in a robust choir for our Memorial Day Liturgy, we hope you will join us! Hierarchical Liturgy on Monday morning will feature two choirs & antiphonal singing. Festival singers will be assigned to a choir and enjoy rehearsals conducted by St. Tikhon’s Music Director Fr. Caleb Lewis and St. Tikhon’s Mixed Choir Director Anastasia Kappanadze, culminating in the celebration of the Memorial Day Hierarchical Liturgy on Monday, May 25th.

The Festival Choir rehearsal schedule:

SATURDAY May 23
1-3pm — Festival Choir Rehearsal

SUNDAY May 24
1-4pm — Festival Choir Rehearsal

MONDAY May 25
8:30-9:45am — Liturgy Warm-up
10am-12:30pm— Memorial Day Liturgy

Your Festival Choir registration fee goes directly to cover the cost of printing scores, as well as to support the St. Tikhon’s Music Program.

Music repertoire will be sent out to registrants early May. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the pieces before our rehearsals Memorial Day Weekend. Printed scores will be provided upon arrival.
